snow globe daily painting

Snowglobe daily pastel painting 7" by 7" daily pastel painting, unframed   SOLD

I was going through boxes of christmas decorations and thought it would be fun to set up some still life scenes, and paint them of course.
This little snow globe cost me a $1 at CVS. The one I had before this cost me $10 and it was the same size and not much cuter. I made the mistake of leaving that one on the dash of my car in freezing temperatures. The company that made it didn't warn me that it could burst. . . which it did. I'm not usually one who needs logical warnings.
This was fun to paint and is bringing the holiday "spirit" in view. I've been a bit sluggish.

  1. Thanks for the warnings about snow globes; I wouldn't have known that either and I am much like you in not needing common sensical warnings. I love the primary colors and festive feel to this happy painting! Yay!! Christmas and snow are on the way!!
