I discovered this morning that the Daily Painters are having a Valentine's Day theme tomorrow. Although my last post is a Valentine's theme painting I still wanted to participate. This was a quick sketch.

My husband brought some of these valentine candies home this weekend. I thought I'd paint them before I finish them. Eating them was not my plan but I have a sweet tooth. That's the reason I do not buy candy as a general rule.
Giving the painting as a gift would be a novel way to propose on Valentine's Day!
