I'm giving away a painting for the week of Oct.15th through Oct. 22nd. If you leave a comment on this blog post, you'll be automatically entered to win this Lonely Pear pastel painting. If you haven't already, you will also be subscribed to my newsletter which you can undo at any time, although I hope you'll give it a try.
The deadline is Saturday, October 22nd at midnight EST. I will close comments to the post at that time and the winner, who will be randomly selected, will be notified and announced.

  1. Hi. I have a big old carpenters tool box. It was a paperhangers box. I painted it lavender over a coat of light blue and rubbed it back a little. I use it for all my oils and sauces, vinegars and garlic bulbs on my kitchen counter. This picture reminds me of it.

  2. I love your work and based my exam piece on your style, results day came and I got an A o I am very happy and very grateful that your work is online for everyone to see. The colours in this painting are beautifully pronounced, with the pear in the corner surrounded by shadows it seem isolated as well as lonely. Another fantastic piece.
