Thanks to my friend Pamela's photo I was able to paint another cupcake. I frequently forget my camera.
I usually fill up more space on my surface but I wanted to try a different background. When I stepped back from the painting it looked like the cupcake was on a stage for it's premiere.

Wow, I'm back.
This painting has been sitting on my small easel for way too long! I've been busy doing everything but painting. It was an unplanned break which gave me the time to finish some much needed projects and spend more time with family and friends. I've been thinking about a possible new direction for my work.
