I am a self-taught contemporary pastel painter. I was born in The Netherlands, raised in New York and presently live in rural Massachusetts. My work can be found in private collections throughout the Americas and Europe. My paintings have been displayed in art shows and galleries in most of New England. In 2006 I set a goal to complete a painting a day by joining The Daily Painters making small works more affordable to collectors. Because of life circumstances I'm not always able to complete a small work each day but I do paint everyday.
Food art has become a favorite subject of mine in the past few months, as well as to my collectors. Please contact me for commissioned work. I paint in pastels, oils and acrylics.
